Job Description
Join an Indianapolis Progressive Care Unit as a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week night assignment. You’ll care for higher-acuity patients who require close monitoring and specialized nursing support, with typical ratios of 1:3–4. This role is suited to an experienced PCU RN comfortable with complex conditions and treatments, including BiPAP, insulin drips, and select cardiac drips.
The schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts each week, every third weekend, and one designated holiday grouping. Call is not required. ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications are required, and first-time travelers are not accepted. Night owls with strong PCU experience will find a focused assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Weather
Indianapolis typically has crisp, comfortable days and cooler evenings during this time of year, with changing skies and occasional rain. It is a pleasant season for exploring the city between shifts, so pack layers and a light jacket.
