Job Description
This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced PCU Registered Nurse supporting patients with burn injuries, muscle flaps, and head and neck surgeries. The unit serves a blend of intermediate-care and critical-care patients, with responsibilities that may include ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, IV starts, and working within either a team-nursing or primary-nursing model. Extensive burn wound dressings are completed by wound nurses. Travelers must be prepared to float to medically appropriate assignments across affiliated campuses and work every other weekend and holiday. A little night-shift stamina will go a long way in this assignment.
