Job Description:

Join the team on a vibrant stroke unit for a 13-week contract in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role is ideal for registered nurses with solid experience in caring for stroke patients, requiring competency in titrating drips like Heparin, Nicardipine, and Amiodarone. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, utilizing virtual nursing tools, Tele, and monitor tech support to guide your workflow. The unit’s focus on managing complex cases such as CHF, PNA, Sepsis, and COPD offers a challenging yet rewarding environment. Expect to coordinate with a team of nurse aids, charge nurses, and house supervisors, all while maintaining a high standard of care in a fast-paced setting. You’ll pass pass/fail exams during orientation, with all resources provided, and must achieve at least 90% to continue - so bring your A-game! This assignment stands out for its collaborative atmosphere, modern technology, and the opportunity to refine critical nursing skills in a specialized unit.
