Job Description:

This travel Registered Nurse contract in Phoenix, Arizona, offers the opportunity to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate care for acute-care patients during 12-hour night shifts. You will complete detailed assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, administer care based on physician orders, coordinate with the healthcare team, document patient responses, and support patient and family education. The role also includes delegating and supervising care activities when appropriate, contributing to continuity of care, and helping mentor or orient other personnel. Night-shift nursing with desert-city views makes this assignment a distinctive way to experience Phoenix while advancing your clinical practice.

Weather:

Phoenix typically offers sunny skies, dry air, mild daytime temperatures, and cool, comfortable evenings during this time of year. The generally pleasant conditions make it easy to explore the city and surrounding desert landscapes between shifts.

Fun Things To Do:

• Desert Botanical Garden: Explore desert plants, trails, and scenic views in Papago Park.

• Roosevelt Row: Browse galleries, murals, restaurants, and local shops in downtown Phoenix.

• Day Trip – Sedona: Visit the red-rock formations, hiking trails, and arts community approximately two hours north of Phoenix.

• Day Trip – Grand Canyon South Rim: Take a memorable road trip to one of Arizona’s most iconic natural landmarks.

• Tempe Town Lake: Enjoy walking paths, waterfront activities, dining, and nearby entertainment.
