Job Description:
This travel contract is designed for an experienced oncology nurse supporting a mixed-acuity PCU and oncology setting. You will care for oncology and hematology patients, manage blood products, chemotherapy, drips, PCAs, wounds, and other complex needs. The assignment includes night shifts, floating among stepdown and advanced care units, and working with electronic documentation in EPIC. Oncology experience, PCU or stepdown experience, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms are required. Chemo certification and sickle cell experience are preferred. Expect a hands-on assignment where every shift brings a new clinical challenge.

Dayton typically experiences cool, crisp conditions with variable cloud cover, occasional rain, and the possibility of early snow. Comfortable layers and weather-ready footwear are useful for exploring the area between shifts.
