RN: PCU/IMC/Stepdown

Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse caring for patients with COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, acute respiratory failure, pulmonary embolisms, chest tubes, and complex respiratory needs. This higher-acuity progressive care assignment includes telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts, vents, tracheostomies, and CPAP/BiPAP care. You will work alongside respiratory therapists, a team lead, vascular access, rapid response, and other support resources. The role includes floating to like units, every-other-weekend coverage, and the opportunity for block scheduling when unit needs allow.

Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM

Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
