Job Description:

Join a cardiac progressive care team in Seattle as a travel Registered Nurse caring for patients with myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, heart failure, vascular conditions, and stroke with cardiac involvement. You will manage pre- and post-open-heart surgery patients, post-cath patients, chest tubes, sternal precautions, blood products, cardioversion and defibrillation, epicardial pacing, and advanced cardiac support cases such as LVAD and structural heart procedures. This assignment includes telemetry interpretation, respiratory support, and floating to similar units as needed. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend required - perfect for nurses who are comfortable keeping a watchful eye through the night.

Weather:

Seattle typically offers cool, crisp conditions with a mix of cloudy skies, light rain, and occasional breaks of sunshine. Temperatures are generally mild during the day and cooler in the evenings, so a waterproof layer and comfortable walking shoes are useful.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Waterfront: Explore Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront, and the nearby Seattle Aquarium.
  • Museums: Visit the Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden and Glass, or the Seattle Art Museum.
  • Day Trip – Mount Rainier: Enjoy scenic viewpoints, hiking trails, and mountain landscapes in Mount Rainier National Park.
  • Day Trip – Olympic Peninsula: Discover forests, coastline, and mountain scenery in Olympic National Park.
  • Neighborhoods: Stroll through Capitol Hill, Ballard, and Fremont for local restaurants, cafés, shops, and parks.
