Original job description
Job Description:
Join a 13-week travel contract as a Registered Nurse supporting a mixed-acuity PCU and oncology population in Dayton. You will care for medical-surgical and advanced-care patients, including individuals receiving chemotherapy, blood products, drips, PCA therapy, and complex wound care. Oncology experience is required, while sickle cell experience and chemotherapy certification are preferred. The assignment follows 12-hour night shifts with no block scheduling, and travelers should be prepared to float across stepdown and advanced-care units, including respiratory-focused assignments when medically appropriate. Nurses must be comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms and working with EPIC. Every-other-weekend and holiday availability is required.
Weather:
Expect crisp, cool weather with chilly mornings, mild afternoons, and changing conditions. Light rain and occasional breezes are possible, making layers and a reliable jacket useful for exploring Dayton between shifts.

- Riverfront Recreation: Walk or bike along the Great Miami River trails and enjoy downtown Dayton.
- Day Trip - Yellow Springs: Visit the village shops, cafes, and nearby hiking trails.
