Job Description:
Join a travel healthcare contract as a registered nurse supporting pediatric patients in a cardiac progressive care setting. You will care for children with complex cardiac conditions, including single-ventricle heart disease, heart transplant patients, and ventricular assist devices. This assignment features 12-hour night shifts, no routine on-call requirement, and every-other-weekend scheduling. Pediatric cardiac progressive care experience is essential, including familiarity with three-stage single-ventricle care. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference during every overnight shift.
Weather:
Aurora typically offers cool to cold conditions during this time of year, with crisp sunny days, occasional snowfall, and comfortable opportunities to enjoy the outdoors between shifts. Weather can vary, so layers and winter-ready clothing are useful.
Fun Things To Do:
- Outdoor Recreation: Explore Aurora’s parks, trails, and open spaces.
- Local Dining: Discover restaurants, cafés, and local food spots throughout Aurora.
- Arts and Entertainment: Enjoy local cultural attractions, performances, and entertainment venues.
- Day Trip to Denver: Spend a day exploring the city’s dining, arts, shopping, and entertainment options.
- Day Trip to the Rocky Mountains: Take a scenic drive and enjoy Colorado’s mountain landscapes and outdoor recreation.
