Job Description
Take your next travel assignment to Baltimore as a PCU Registered Nurse supporting adult patients in a cardiac telemetry stepdown setting. You’ll care for patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, cardiac arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization needs. This fast-paced assignment includes telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, IV management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and management of medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and insulin.
The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend required. Floating within scope may be required based on operational needs, and on-call shifts are not required. A Maryland RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, required EKG assessment, and annual stroke education are required. At least one year of PCU or telemetry experience is needed. First-time travelers are welcome.
