RN: PACU

Job Description:

This 13-week contract in New Orleans offers a chance for PACU Registered Nurses to step into a fast-paced surgical environment where every day brings a new challenge. With 12-hour day shifts, you’ll support patients through all major surgical procedures and recovery stages, caring for both pediatric and adult populations. The role involves working on a high-volume, multi-floor surgical unit, utilizing specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and bladder scanners, and coordinating care with a team that expects flexibility - sometimes including emergency assignments. If you’re comfortable floating between pediatric and adult PACU and thrive in a setting that keeps you engaged, this assignment is an excellent fit.
