RN: PACU

Job Description:

Take your PACU nursing expertise to Wheeling, West Virginia, for a 13-week travel contract supporting inpatient and outpatient recovery, a surgery center, and an anesthesia clinic. You will care for patients across Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery, managing cases ranging from general, neuro, thoracic, and interventional procedures to ICU-level recoveries. Open-heart cases transfer directly to the ICU.

The assignment primarily follows three 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility needed as cases may run beyond the scheduled end time. The role includes floating among recovery areas, reading and interpreting telemetry strips, and participating in overnight, weekend, and holiday call rotations. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required for PACU and surgery center assignments; BLS is required for the anesthesia clinic.
