RN: PACU

Job Description:

Work as a PACU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Abilene, Texas. You will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor their recovery, manage post-procedure needs, and support safe transitions from the recovery area. The assignment offers daytime scheduling with varied start times, a primary 5×8-hour structure, and call coverage. A 12/7 start is strongly preferred, providing an opportunity to join a well-organized perioperative team while exploring West Texas.

Abilene typically offers comfortable daytime temperatures, cooler evenings, plenty of sunshine, and occasional breezes. Outdoor plans are often enjoyable with a light jacket available for morning and evening activities.
