RN: PACU

Job Description:

This travel contract is for an RN supporting preoperative and post-anesthesia care in Ithaca, New York. The assignment includes varied day, evening, and overnight shifts, along with scheduled call coverage and holiday call. You will care for patients before procedures and during recovery, helping guide them safely through each stage of their surgical experience. Call coverage includes approximately three to four weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call during an eight-week period, with needs subject to staffing.

Expect cool, crisp conditions with changing skies and the possibility of rain or brisk winds. Comfortable layers and a light weatherproof jacket will help you enjoy time outdoors between shifts.

Job Specifics:

Location: Ithaca, New York

Shift: 36-hour week with variable shifts ranging from 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.; call and holiday call required

Duration: 468 hours over 13 weeks
