RN: PACU

Job Description:

Join a travel assignment in Hilo as a post-anesthesia care unit registered nurse. You will care for patients before surgery and throughout Phase I and Phase II recovery, assessing incision sites, monitoring temperature and vital signs, and recognizing potential complications after anesthesia. The role is suited to nurses with PACU, critical care, emergency, or intensive care experience and includes the opportunity to work with a variety of recovery cases in a Hawaiian setting.

Expect warm, humid conditions with comfortable temperatures, gentle coastal breezes, and occasional brief showers that help keep the area lush and green. Outdoor plans are easy to enjoy with light layers and flexible scheduling around passing rain.

Job Specifics:

City and State: Hilo, Hawaii

Shift: Variable 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts; days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional overnight or weekend/holiday on-call coverage may be required.

Duration: 36 hours per week for 13 weeks
