Job Description
Step into a 13-week Operating Room Registered Nurse contract in Philadelphia, supporting adult and geriatric surgical patients during an evening schedule. This role is designed for an experienced OR RN comfortable with high-acuity and trauma cases across General Surgery, Neuro, Orthopedics, Vascular, and Transplant services. You will work with procedures ranging from laparoscopic surgery, colon resections, and thyroidectomies to spinal procedures, total joint replacements, vascular repairs, and complex transplant cases.
The assignment includes floating within scope as department needs require, approximately six weekday call shifts, and two weekend call rotations. Facility-provided scrubs and Cerner charting are available. Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania RN license and have at least two years of Operating Room experience, including Level I trauma, total joints, Neuro, Transplant, Vascular, and General Surgery experience. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet the clinical requirements. Your evening schedule also leaves room to enjoy Philadelphia after the surgical lights go down.
