You’ll get to experience the unique pace of an acute care setting, focusing on surgical procedures and operating room workflows, all while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that travel nursing provides. Set yourself up for success with required certifications such as BLS and a valid Alaska RN license in hand, and optional certifications like ACLS and CNOR to enhance your profile. Your role might include floating within scope to other units, but you’ll primarily be supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment that values skill and adaptability.
