Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare assignment as a Registered Nurse supporting a Level I trauma operating room. You will work across a broad range of surgical specialties, including gynecology, spine, hand, neuro, orthopedic, oncological breast, and microvascular cases. Scrub experience is highly preferred, and experience with orthopedic robotics is an advantage. The operating rooms remain active around the clock, with opportunities to support scheduled cases and overnight trauma coverage. Your first week will focus on onboarding and may include varying shifts, followed by a schedule that rotates between days, nights, weekends, holidays, and call coverage based on department needs. This assignment offers the chance to sharpen your OR practice while caring for complex surgical patients in a teaching-facility setting.

Weather:

Denver typically offers crisp, cool air, plenty of sunshine, and refreshing outdoor conditions during this time of year. Expect cooler mornings and evenings, comfortable afternoons when the sun is out, and the possibility of an occasional light snowfall.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Downtown exploring: Visit the 16th Street area, Larimer Square, and nearby local restaurants.
  • Art and culture: Spend an afternoon at the Denver Art Museum and explore the surrounding Golden Triangle neighborhood.
  • Day trip to Boulder: Enjoy scenic trails, local shops, and views along the Flatirons.
  • Day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park: Take in mountain scenery, wildlife, and accessible outdoor viewpoints.
  • Red Rocks visit: Walk the park trails and see the iconic outdoor amphitheater west of the city.
