Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Winnemucca, Nevada. You will circulate and scrub for mostly adult cases across general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, pain management, cardiology, and endoscopy. Strong orthopedic experience, including total joints, is required. The assignment also offers opportunities to train in endoscopy and cardiology while floating to pre-op and PACU as needed. Case volume varies from no cases to approximately 12 cases per day, with lower-volume days offering time to support supplies and other departmental tasks. Occasional pediatric orthopedic and appendectomy cases may be included.

Expect crisp mornings, mild and sunny afternoons, and cool, clear evenings. The high-desert setting typically brings dry air and noticeable temperature changes between day and night, so layers are useful for exploring the area.

Job Specifics:

Location: Winnemucca, Nevada

Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one weeknight of call and one weekend of call per four-week period

Duration: 40 hours per week for 13 weeks
