Original job description
Job Description:
This travel RN contract supports a Surgical ICU caring for patients recovering from complex procedures and critical illness. The assignment includes trauma, transplant, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedic-spine, oncology, and general surgery patients. Nurses should bring at least two years of current Surgical ICU experience, including experience with post-surgical and trauma patients, as well as prior travel assignments in an ICU setting. The schedule includes 12-hour day shifts, weekend coverage, availability call, and floating to areas requiring a similar skill set. This is a strong opportunity to care for a broad surgical critical-care population while exploring Baltimore.
Weather:
Baltimore typically has cool, crisp weather around this time of year, with comfortable daytime temperatures, cooler evenings, and a mix of sunny and cloudy days. Light layers and a jacket are generally useful for exploring the city.

• Inner Harbor: Visit the waterfront promenade, shops, restaurants, and attractions in the heart of Baltimore.
• Baltimore Museum of Art: Explore renowned collections and a peaceful sculpture garden.
• Annapolis Day Trip: Tour Maryland’s waterfront capital, historic streets, and harbor.
• Washington, D.C. Day Trip: Visit museums, monuments, and cultural landmarks in the nation’s capital.
• Patapsco Valley State Park Day Trip: Hike scenic trails, explore wooded landscapes, and enjoy outdoor recreation.
