Job Description:

This travel contract offers a unique opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to step into a fast-paced obstetrics setting in Defiance, Ohio. You’ll be supporting expectant mothers through antepartum, delivery, and postpartum phases, working within a team on 12-hour night shifts. Environmentally, expect a blend of preparing for high-risk deliveries, managing active labor, and providing neonatal support with some interesting procedures - think sterile speculum exams and fetal monitoring, to name a few. The job’s rhythm may keep you on your toes, but it offers a rewarding chance to refine your skills in a supportive hospital setting with dedicated provider coverage and modern systems like Epic and SBAR.
