Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse supporting laboring, pre-term, postpartum, obstetric, and newborn patients. The role includes caring for patients through vaginal and cesarean deliveries, performing cervical exams, interpreting fetal monitoring, and participating in neonatal resuscitation. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, every-other-weekend coverage as needed, EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometrics fetal monitoring. Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring experience, at least two years of Labor and Delivery experience, BLS, NRP, and a current Indiana or compact RN license are required. STABLE certification is preferred.
