Job Description:

This travel assignment supports a labor and delivery team caring for patients at 32 weeks’ gestation and beyond. Responsibilities include attending deliveries, completing newborn care during the first hour, providing triage and postpartum couplet care, circulating C-sections, managing magnesium therapy, and titrating Pitocin, magnesium, and occasional insulin drips. The role also includes caring for patients with hypertension, gestational diabetes, TOLACs, antepartum needs, and patients seeking medical intervention or pain control after planned home births. Travelers may float within their primary specialty to nearby sites in the Treasure Valley and will complete four orientation shifts on the unit.
