Job Description:
This travel contract is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse for a Family Birth Center assignment in Mt. Shasta, California. You will support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care while working with newborns during cesarean births alongside respiratory therapy and anesthesia staff. The role may include charge nurse responsibilities and occasional support in MedSurg for task-based needs. You may be the only Labor and Delivery nurse on site at times, making experience and confidence especially valuable. The assignment uses Cerner and requires BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Advanced AWHONN certifications.
