Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Seattle. This high-risk, high-volume assignment supports a broad range of deliveries in a 31-bed unit with four operating rooms and an average daily census of 15 patients. Night-shift nurses work four 12-hour shifts and may care for midwifery clients, private OB patients, adult recovery services, and community care clinic patients.

The role includes circulating, caring for newborns during and after delivery, completing newborn assessments, and administering routine newborn medications such as eye prophylaxis and vitamin K injections. Nurses may float to postpartum or antepartum areas and sister facilities supporting mother-baby care. High-risk experience, electronic fetal monitoring, BLS, and NRP are required; experience with magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin is valuable.
