Job Description
Take your next assignment to Greensboro as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract. You’ll work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., caring for emergency patients in a fast-paced setting. This assignment requires at least two years of emergency department experience, and first-time travelers are welcome. ACLS, BLS, NIH, and EPIC experience are required; CPI, PALS, TNCC, previous charge experience, and Level II trauma experience are preferred. The schedule includes either two weekend shifts or four weekend days during the contract, holidays as needed, and no call - an opportunity for night owls ready to make Greensboro their temporary home.
Weather
Greensboro typically offers comfortable weather around this time of year, with crisp mornings, mild afternoons, and generally pleasant conditions for exploring the city and surrounding area. Occasional rain and cooler evenings are possible, so a light jacket and flexible layers are useful.
Fun Things To Do
• Local Exploration: Discover Greensboro’s parks, greenways, shops, and restaurants.
• Arts and Culture: Spend an afternoon visiting local museums, galleries, and cultural venues.
• Outdoor Recreation: Enjoy hiking, walking trails, and scenic open spaces in and around the city.
• Day Trip: Visit a nearby North Carolina destination for dining, sightseeing, and a change of scenery.
• Day Trip: Plan a day exploring another nearby city, historic district, or outdoor destination.
