Job Description:
Join a busy emergency room as an ER Registered Nurse, where every shift brings new opportunities to make a difference in patient lives. This 13-week travel contract is based in a well-respected community hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing care to adult and geriatric patients in a setting that handles high acuity cases including stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation procedures. This role offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting a diverse patient population, including many over 60. The hospital’s reputation as a top heart center and a Level 1 STEMI center makes this an exciting opportunity for experienced ER nurses looking for a rewarding challenge. Prepare to dive into a team that values expertise in trauma, airway management, and emergency procedures without the stress of hospital-specific constraints. And yes, there might be a few shifts that require you to switch gears slightly - just the kind of dynamic work environment that keeps you on your toes.
