Job Description:
As a travel emergency department registered nurse, you will provide direct care for patients with urgent and complex conditions, including stroke, cardiac concerns, respiratory emergencies, sepsis, trauma, and other acute illnesses. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, a supportive department culture, and the opportunity to care for a broad range of emergency cases. Responsibilities include cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, ventilator management, peripheral IV starts, thrombolytic medication administration, and conscious sedation. Floating within the regional system may be required, with travel time between facilities remaining on the clock.
