Job Description:
Join an emergency department travel assignment as a registered nurse supporting patients with cardiac, diabetic, stroke, respiratory, wound, and other urgent conditions. You will provide bedside triage, assess and treat patients, manage medications and drips such as heparin and diltiazem, read your own cardiac monitor strips, draw labs, perform or assist with EKGs, and support stabilization and transfers when specialty care is needed. This assignment suits an experienced ED nurse who is comfortable working with limited resources and may flex to an inpatient medical-surgical unit as needed. ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required; TNCC, NRP, and ENPC are strongly preferred.
