Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as an Emergency Department RN providing direct patient care during 12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This 36-hour-per-week contract offers the opportunity to care for patients in a fast-paced emergency setting while using Cerner electronic medical records. A biweekly orientation schedule supports a smooth start, and Vermont licensure must be applied for upon acceptance. Bring your clinical expertise, required certifications, and perhaps your favorite travel mug for the overnight hours.

Weather:

Rutland typically experiences crisp, cool conditions during this time of year, with plenty of refreshing outdoor air and changing skies. Temperatures may be chilly, and occasional rain or snow can add to the classic New England atmosphere.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Local Outdoors: Explore Pine Hill Park’s trails and scenic wooded landscapes.
  • Arts and Culture: Visit downtown Rutland galleries, local shops, and community arts venues.
  • Day Trip: Spend a day exploring the mountain recreation and village attractions of Killington.
  • Day Trip: Visit Woodstock for historic architecture, independent shops, and nearby scenery.
  • Scenic Excursion: Discover the marble heritage and surrounding sights of Proctor.

City and State: Rutland, Vermont

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
