Job Description:
Join our team as a registered nurse in an emergency department where every shift feels like a new adventure - answering the call of urgent care at an acute stroke-ready hospital. This 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a busy, high-acuity environment. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of physicians, techs, and support staff to provide timely, life-saving interventions for a wide range of patients - from pediatrics to geriatrics. If you thrive on fast-paced, hands-on work, this assignment offers the chance to hone your critical thinking and procedural skills, including IV starts, chest tube management, and stroke response. It’s a unique chance to gain experience in a Chest Pain and Stroke Center while working in a facility that handles approximately 120 patient visits daily. Just bring your two years of ED experience and relevant certifications, and you’ll be ready to make an immediate impact.
Weather:
Typically mild and humid around this time of year, the weather offers warm days and cooler evenings. It’s a pleasant climate perfect for exploring the city or enjoying outdoor activities during your off hours.
