Job Description:

This travel contract is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Alamogordo, New Mexico. You will care for a broad range of patients, from clinic-level needs to strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, and behavioral health cases. The assignment offers the opportunity to practice across the full spectrum of emergency care while assessing patients, administering treatments and medications, documenting care, educating families, and coordinating care during 12-hour night shifts. At least two years of experience, with recent Emergency Department experience in a Level I, II, or III trauma setting, is required.

Weather:

Expect generally sunny, dry conditions with comfortable daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. The area’s high-desert setting can bring crisp air, clear skies, and occasional temperature changes between day and night.
