Job Description

Take your emergency nursing experience to Tacoma for a 13-week travel assignment supporting an emergency department and its observation and boarding patients. You will care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients, monitor your own telemetry, manage ER holds, and work with a team that includes charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, paramedics, patient sitters, transporters, and lab staff. The assignment uses Epic and includes 12-hour night shifts from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Travelers should be prepared to float to similar floors and, when needed, across nearby facilities in the region. A little night-shift stamina will go a long way in this role.

Tacoma typically offers cool, comfortable weather around this time of year, with a mix of cloudy skies, occasional rain, and crisp conditions that are well suited to scenic walks and exploring the area.
