Job Description
Join a 26-week CVOR travel assignment in Nashville as a Registered Nurse supporting complex adult cardiac surgery. You will work 12-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with schedules varying by unit needs and no block scheduling. Call is required, including rotating 24/7 call coverage, with requirements adjusted periodically.
This role requires at least two years of CVOR experience and prior travel experience. Scrubbing cardiac procedures is non-negotiable; qualified RNs must be able to scrub and circulate surgeries. The adult patient population includes complex CABG, valve and repeat cardiac procedures, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart and lung transplant, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, cardiac trauma, and adult congenital cases. Travelers may float between operating rooms within the same location and will not work with pediatric cases.
Weather
Nashville typically offers cool, comfortable conditions with crisp days, mild afternoons, and occasional rain. Layered clothing and a light rain jacket are useful for exploring the city and surrounding areas.
