RN: Case Manager

Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as an Inpatient Care Coordinator in Sitka, Alaska. The role focuses on reviewing medical records, evaluating medical necessity and length of stay, coordinating utilization management and discharge planning, and supporting appropriate, cost-effective care delivery. You will collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, leadership, payers, patients, and families while ensuring documentation meets regulatory and payer requirements.

Applicants must hold an active Alaska nursing license and have at least eight years of clinical care or nursing experience, including three years in chart review, risk management, or a related quality function. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required, and case management certification is preferred. A flu vaccine is required.
