Job Description:
This 13-week travel contract is for a Microbiology Medical Laboratory Scientist working a consistent day shift in Minneapolis. You will perform bacteriology testing and read plates from wound, blood, urine, respiratory, anaerobic, and body fluid cultures. The assignment includes Gram stain interpretation, MALDI-TOF, Vitek 2, MicroScan, and EPIC Beaker LIS workflows. An MLS, M, or SM ASCP certification is required, with experience using Bruker MALDI-TOF and EPIC Beaker preferred. Weekend and holiday coverage are required.
