Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract is seeking an experienced medical laboratory professional for a 13-week assignment in a small rural hospital laboratory. You will support emergency, routine hospital, and clinic testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, microbiology setup, urinalysis, coagulation, arterial blood gases, rapid testing, and phlebotomy. The role includes variable 8-hour daytime start times between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., with opportunities to assist and train less experienced laboratory staff. Strong phlebotomy skills, arterial blood collection experience, quality control knowledge, and the ability to adapt across a critical access setting are important for success.
