Original job description

Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer in Rapid City, SD, for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment. You’ll perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including routine scans, strain imaging, TEE, and Stress Echo, on both adult and pediatric patients. This role offers a chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment like Phillips Cv-x and 7C, while floating between outpatient clinics and hospital settings. The schedule is straightforward: 8-hour days, with call coverage only 6 nights per month and rotating weekends. If you’re ready to bring your two or more years of experience and your ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification to a dynamic team, this is an excellent opportunity to grow and explore a new city while doing meaningful work.

Weather:

The weather around here typically features warm, pleasant summers and crisp, clear autumn days. Winters can bring occasional snow, creating picturesque winter scenes, while spring offers mild temperatures and blossoming landscapes, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities.

Fun Things To Do:

Monkeyflower Lake: Enjoy a peaceful day of kayaking and fishing in this scenic spot just a short drive away.
Badlands National Park: Take a day trip to explore stunning geological formations, wildlife viewing, and breathtaking vistas.
Black Hills Tour: Discover local history with a trip to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial, both just a scenic drive from Rapid City.
Custer State Park: Experience hiking, biking, and wildlife photography in this expansive natural reserve.
Spearfish Canyon: Enjoy scenic drives and waterfalls, perfect for a day of outdoor adventure and photography.
