Original job description
Job Description:
Join a 13-week travel assignment in Woodland, California, as a CT/X-ray Technologist. You will perform CT and radiographic imaging in an outpatient setting while supporting fluctuating emergency department volume, with approximately 13–18 scheduled scans during a 10-hour shift. The department uses Siemens Somatom AS and Go.Top CT systems, Carestream X-ray equipment, and Philips and GE fluoroscopy/X-ray rooms; prior experience with these specific systems is not required. The assignment also includes limited call coverage with a 30-minute response time. A little California sunshine and plenty of imaging variety make this a well-rounded traveler experience.
Weather:
Woodland typically experiences mild, comfortable conditions around this time of year, with cool mornings, pleasant afternoons, and generally clear skies. Temperatures can vary between daytime and evening, so light layers are useful for exploring the area.
Fun Things To Do:
- Downtown Woodland: Explore locally owned shops, restaurants, historic architecture, and community events.
- UC Davis Arboretum: Walk the scenic gardens and enjoy peaceful paths along the waterways.
- Day Trip - Sacramento: Visit museums, restaurants, riverfront attractions, and the historic Old Sacramento district.
- Day Trip - Napa Valley: Spend a day touring vineyards, tasting local offerings, and enjoying the valley scenery.
- Lake Berryessa: Take a day outdoors with boating, hiking, picnicking, and views of the surrounding hills.
Job Specifics:
City and State: Woodland, California
Shift: 10-hour nights
Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week
