Job Description:

Support the Maternity Center as an OB Surgical Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment in Kearney. You will prepare sterile tables, instruments, and supplies for cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and circumcisions; maintain accurate counts; assist with draping; and help keep operating and patient rooms ready for use. The role also includes equipment and supply maintenance, room turnover, environmental services support, point-of-care testing, and recording vital signs or intake and output when requested. This overnight assignment offers the opportunity to support a maternity unit with occasional emergency C-sections and holiday coverage as part of continuous service.

Expect crisp, cool conditions with a mix of bright skies and passing clouds. Temperatures can be chilly, especially overnight, while occasional mild afternoons make it comfortable to explore the area between shifts.

Job Specifics:

Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Schedule: Three shifts per week, including two weekdays and one weekend day

Duration: 13 weeks at 36 hours per week
