Facilities Maintenance Tech

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machines, grinders, slicers, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain refrigeration systems, boilers, air compressors, and water systems as assigned.
• Responsible for the maintenance and care of the facility's end grounds
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Work closely with production and sanitation teams to support plant operations.

Experience

• Entry Level
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or meat processing environments
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, conveyors, welding, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Work Environment:

• Meat processing/manufacturing facility with exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, noise, and food production environments.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

The pay is from $20-22/hr.
