DC Material Handler

This Position is for a DC Material Handler with a company in Byhalia, MS. Summary: The Distribution Center Material Handler is responsible for performing various general warehouse duties. Material handlers will operate cross-functionally throughout the distribution center to ensure efficient running of the distribution center in order to meet customer needs. Duties and Responsibilities: - Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage. Load docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by using tractors or other equipment - Scan, pick, pack, and restock inventory - Inspect, audit, and enter returned goods for credit - Participate in cycle counts and ensure merchandise is located daily - Induct and ticket apparel and merchandise for easy identification - Break down waves for order fulfillment - Adheres to all company policies and procedures - Embodies and demonstrates company ethics and values - Abides by all federal, state and local laws Education and Experience: 1 year of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Computer skills: Ability to use/understand RF Scanner. WMS Preferred. Google Applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, etc. a plus.
