Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, research, design, develop, modify, test, and maintain software applications. Participate and contribute to architectural design discussions focused on improving scalability, modularity, and extensibility of the framework. Provide technical input and support during design reviews. Define, enforce consistent technology standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Visualize the entire application as a cohesive system, understand all interactions between system components, and define limitations and requirements for source code in Java and related frameworks. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and post-deployment validation across development, staging, and production environments, and manage incident resolution in compliance with client-defined Service Level Agreements. Lead code reviews and architectural design reviews for team deliverables. Experience must include: Java, J2EE, Javascript, CSS, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Angular, Bootstrap, GIT, DevOps, Junit, SOAPUI, Oracle.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), MIS, Computer Engineering, Engineering (Any), or a closely related field with 5 years of progressive IT experience in job offered or as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Morristown, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
