ARMStaffing is looking for a Surgical Technician, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Westerville, Ohio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day Shift - 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, split evenly among the group and varies per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Surgical Technician will be integral to the surgical team, assisting the surgical staff during operations and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients and securing necessary equipment.
• Handle instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Maintain aseptic technique and a sterile environment.
• Clean and sterilize instruments post-surgery.

Required Experience

Experience as a Surgical Technician in an operating room setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Surgical Technologist certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
