Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will provide essential support in the operating room, working closely with surgeons and other medical personnel to ensure efficient and effective patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in various surgical disciplines, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedics, and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by providing instruments and materials during operations.
- Ensure a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the transportation of patients to and from surgical areas.
- Maintain equipment and inventory within the operating room.
Required Experience
Candidates must have strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical procedures.
Certifications/Licensure
Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required. Must hold a valid state license or be in the process of obtaining one.
