Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared with the necessary instruments and supplies. The position requires collaboration with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role is critical in maintaining a sterile environment and supporting patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Ensure that the operating room is sterile and meets safety protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation before procedures.
• Monitor and maintain supplies within the operating room.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the surgical specialty.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: AHA BLS certification.
• Preferred: NBSTA or NCCT certification.
