07:00 - 19:00, rotating weekends and on-call duties required.
Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will work in a 7 OR suite environment, providing support in various surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, GYN, plastics, neuro, robotics, podiatry, and dental procedures. The role includes scrubbing for surgeries, assisting the surgical team, and managing instruments and equipment. Familiarity with the EMR system (Meditech) is required.
Responsibilities
- Scrub on various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Assist surgeons and surgical team by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Prepare the operating room for surgeries, ensuring all equipment is sterile and in working order.
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- New Hampshire Medical Technologist license is required prior to submission.
