ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Charleston, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Schedule includes 4x10 hour shifts, working from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with holiday rotation and 1 weekend shift required every 4 weeks. The position also requires up to 4 on-call shifts within a 4-week schedule period.
Job Description
The Certified Surgical Technologist will be an integral part of the surgical team in a busy level-one academic trauma center, assisting in a variety of surgical specialties, including Neuro, ENT, Robotics, and Trauma. The role involves ensuring the operating room is prepared, assisting surgeons during procedures, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
- Help position patients and provide necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety standards during procedures.
- Assist in the documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Participate in the cleaning and restocking of the operating room after procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases is highly preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
