This position requires working 4 ten-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with 2-4 days of call per month. A holiday will be required as per contract.
Job Description
The Surgical Technician will support surgical teams in the operating room by preparing instruments, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other surgical personnel during operations.
- Responsible for pre-operative and post-operative care of instruments and equipment.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are available for procedures.
- Follow protocols and guidelines to maintain patient safety.
Required Experience
- Experience as a Surgical Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Required: Current Surgical Tech certification.
