This position offers a day shift schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM.
Job Description
The Surgical Technician will be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is prepared for surgery, and managing instruments and supplies effectively. The role requires collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Handle and pass instruments to the surgeons during operations.
- Ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed for all surgical tools and equipment.
- Provide support in managing patient care within the operating room setting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Required Experience
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a surgical setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
